Sophie Coryndon was born in 1975 in the West Country and now lives and works in Sussex. From 1994-97 she studied at the University of Wales, Cardiff, gaining a degree in Fine Art. From 1997-99 she worked as a specialist paint finisher undertaking a number of prestigious public and private commissions, until joining the Lucy B. Campbell Gallery in January 2000. As Sophie's paintings are ultimately about the beauty of extraordinary flowers and the seductiveness of the colours, they have been collected by designers, art collectors and flower lovers all over the world. |
