Emily Warren is an Illustrator and maker who lives and works in Glynde, near Firle. Since completing her MA in Illustration at Central St Martins she has been making papermache trophy heads (mostly to commission) and creating installations and illustrations.
Emily is inspired by the work of Folk and Outsider Artists as well as a love of animals. In all her 3D work and drawings Emily conveys her sense of silliness sometimes with a darker undertone. She is excited at the possibilities of using rubbish such as packaging, newspapers and cardboard to make her work. She enjoys the process of magically transforming these every day materials into something precious and lasting.
