Emily Ticehurst is a ceramist and potter her pieces are hand thrown and pressmoulded, using a combination of pale glazes and raku. Her work aims to combine  aesthetics with  form to create modern and functional  everyday items.  

Emily also works locally as a part time art teacher whose biography includes a degree in sculpture, and work as a fashion / costume designer and freelance art director for film and television for some years before she moved to Firle.

Her current passion is clay work, teaching, her family and company Made in Clay (www.madeinclay.co.uk)
